We are pleased to have received one year of funding from City Bridge Foundation to continue delivery of the Dance for Wellbeing programme in Greenwich following the closure of Greenwich Dance.
These classes will refocus energy, deepen connection to the body and aim to impact positively on confidence energy and wellbeing. A typical session will begin with a seated or standing warm up, a check in with the body and breath followed by movement explorations and improvisations.
No previous dance or movement experience is necessary and sessions are open to adults 18+

Getting to the Nest
Train: Take the Elizabeth Line to Abbey Wood Station. From there, you can take a bus or walk.
Bus: From Abbey Wood Station, you can take bus numbers 229 or 469 directly to Thamesmead. Alternatively, bus numbers 177, 180, 401, and 472 also serve the Thamesmead area and have stops near Cygnet Square.

Getting to the Plumstead Centre:
Bus: You can take buses 96, 99, 177, 180, 422, 469, or N1.
Get off at the stop called “Plumstead High Street / Lakedale Road”. The Plumstead Centre is just a short walk from there.
Train: The nearest train station is Plumstead Rail Station. From Plumstead Rail Station, it’s about a 10-minute walk to The Plumstead Centre. Head southeast on Plumstead High Street, and you’ll find the centre on your left.
Landmarks: Look for the refurbished library building, which is part of the centre.

Getting to The Moorings Social Club:
Train: Take the Elizabeth Line to Abbey Wood Station. From there, you can take a bus or walk.
Bus: From Abbey Wood Station, take bus numbers 229, 301, 244, or 472. These buses stop at Caryle Road / Bentham Road, which is a short walk to Arnott Close.

Getting to Woolwich Library:
Train: Take the Elizabeth Line or Southeastern trains to Woolwich Station. From there, it’s a short walk to the library.
Bus: From Woolwich Station, you can take bus numbers 122, 177, 422, 54, or SL2. These buses stop near Wellington Street.
Walking: If you’re nearby, head towards the Woolwich Centre. The library is located within the Woolwich Centre complex on Wellington Street.
