Trinity Laban and Mugler Creators: supporting the talent of tomorrow
Trinity Laban partners with Mugler and One Dance UK to launch the Mugler Creators Program in the United Kingdom.
This visionary initiative provides scholarships to promising young artists in contemporary dance and popular music in financial need. Through this partnership with Mugler and the national support organisation for dance, One Dance UK, Trinity Laban is able to award seven new scholarships for incoming students in these disciplines.
Trinity Laban is a world-leading conservatoire that redefines excellence. We create pioneers, focusing on the artistic freedom and transformation of our students. As a community of global collaborators, we are committed to providing creatives with access to exceptional training in the performing arts.
The House of Mugler has its roots in the performing arts. Groundbreaking shows, revolutionary designs, and larger-than-life performances characterise the brand. Mugler’s unique connection to the creative universe has led to collaborations with boundary-breaking artists throughout the times.
These shared values come together in the Mugler Creators program, driven by a desire to empower young artists in their careers and amplify their voices. The seven new scholarships support promising students on undergraduate courses in Music Performance & Industry and Contemporary Dance. The BA (Hons) Music Performance & Industry immerses students in collaborative music-making, performance, songwriting, and production, learning from esteemed industry professionals and developing their artistic voice. Our BA (Hons) Contemporary Dance allows students to perform in contemporary and experimental showcases, to collaborate with leading international dance practitioners, create new choreography, and develop their own artistic practice. Together with Mugler and One Dance UK, Trinity Laban continues to support students in launching their artistic careers. In the United States, Mugler has partnered with Purchase College and the Purchase College Foundation to support a further nine scholarships.
The initiative is accompanied by a short film, featuring students from Trinity Laban and Purchase College New York. The film is directed by British-Tunisian director Félicity Ben Rejeb Price, renowned for her creative and progressive vision and a portfolio that includes collaborations with global icons in the entertainment and fashion industry. The cinematic expression not only celebrates the initiative, but also showcases student talent and the transformative power of creativity. Movement design for Trinity Laban students was choreographed by our BA (Hons) Contemporary Dance programme leader Stephanie Schober.
For over 50 years, the connection between the world of performance and the House of Mugler has been unbreakable. Today, it fills me with pride and joy to offer talented young artists the chance to transform their dreams into reality, inspiring the next generation of performers to reach their full potential with the help of the Mugler Creators Program.

We are delighted to partner with Mugler and One Dance UK on the Creators Program, which aligns with our commitment to breaking down barriers to accessing the arts.
We believe that young people from all backgrounds should have the opportunity to pursue their creative ambitions and we are thrilled that this program will enable these students to study with us, empowering a new generation of musicians and dancers.”
