Primary School Dance Workshops
We offer creative dance workshops for early years foundation stage (EYFS) through to Year 6 in London primary schools. Workshops can be themed around a topic and delivered as a one-off session, as part of a cross-curricular day, at an extra-curricular club or as a longer-term project working towards a performance. We also offer Bespoke Projects for Schools.

Key Stage 2 Workshops
We offer a limited number of free KS2 workshops for local schools in Lewisham and Greenwich to identify and support young people with passion and potential in dance to progress with us. We support young people to continue dancing through subsided places on our programme of classes.
Secondary School Dance Workshops
Centre for Advanced Training Taster Workshops
We offer schools in London and the South East a free dance workshop for Key Stages 3-4. These fun sessions give students an experience of high-quality contemporary, hip-hop and/or creative dance and provide information about our Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) and careers in dance.
Our CAT programme identifies young people with potential and passion for dance and supports them in developing their technical and creative skills.
CAT Taster Workshops are two hour sessions, delivered by one of our professional dance artists.
We encourage schools to visit us so students can experience our award-winning building, dance in our professional studios and see our degree students training. School visits can be arranged if necessary.
We offer workshops annually between October and May. Our CAT Open Days are in March and May and auditions take place in June.
School Dance Workshops
Inspire your KS3-4 students with a day in our Laban Building. Our workshop day gives students an insight into professional dance training, our undergraduate courses and career opportunities in dance.
Bookable on a date of your choice for a group of your choice (up to 25 students).
The day consists of:
- a tour of the Laban building
- a talk tailored to the age group of your students, for example, hearing about our BA and BSc programmes or unpicking what’s possible with a career in dance
- a practical workshop, with one of our professional dance artists, in contemporary or hip hop , with a choice of technique or creative, or a mixture of the two
A workshop day costs £250.
