Studio practice and room hire
We want to nurture your career long beyond graduation, creating the conditions you need to build your future.
Trinity Laban alumni can hire studio space at the Laban Building and practice rooms at King Charles Court for personal, group practice and rehearsal, or research at an amazing discounted rate.
Hire is subject to terms and conditions and is strictly not allowed for teaching or running classes, workshops or training for independent business or profit.
Availability
Rooms are available at specific off-peak times and are booked on a first come, first served basis, subject to availability. There is a 1hr minimum for all bookings.

Outside term time:
We are often able to offer greater flexibility outside term time. Our booking form will be updated to reflect availability wherever possible, but you can also email us at alumniroombookings@trinitylaban.ac.uk to find out if we can accommodate your request.

Making a booking
Step 1: Fill in our booking form below – please submit your request with as much notice as possible and allow up to five days for a response.
Step 2: If we have available space, we will send you a confirmation letter with details of the room and the price.
Step 3: Make your payment via the online shop.
Step 4: Make sure we have the names of any collaborators joining you to ensure they can also access the building.
Step 5: Use your room.
FAQs
Which practice rooms can I book?
Practice rooms 263 and 264 are available to alumni. Other rooms may be available on request, but it can take us longer to process the booking.
Which studios can I book?
Studio availability for alumni hire varies day to day. Please let us know what your preferred requirements are and we will do our best to accommodate them.
How long will it take to process my booking?
The alumni team is generally available during standard office hours (Mon-Fri 9:00-17:00) and bookings will not be processed outside of these hours. It may take up to five working days to process your request, although it usually quicker than this.
My payment is not going through. What should I do?
If you are getting an error message on the payment page, first check for any non-alphanumeric characters in your details (commas, apostrophes, +44 etc) and remove them. If you still get an error message, contact us at alumniroombookings@trinitylaban.ac.uk so that we can investigate for you and hold the space for you whilst it is sorted.
How far in advance can I book?
As soon as you are aware that you would like to book a space, please fill in the form and let us know. Student requirements must take priority and we may not be able to confirm bookings straight away, but we will get back to you and let you know the timeline you can expect.
Do you operate a waiting list?
Yes. Bookings are occasionally cancelled and extra space can become available at short notice. If you would like your request to be held on our waiting list, please let us know.
Can I cancel or modify my booking after it has been confirmed?
Yes. Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel your booking. If you have paid for your booking and cancel with more than seven days notice you are entitled to either a refund or a credit for a future booking. With less than seven days notice your payment will be retained as a credit for a future booking.
Can I change the room I have been allocated?
If you would like to see if a different room is available, please let us know as soon as you can. It is not possible to change the room you have been allocated on the day of the booking.
I studied at Trinity Laban, but did not graduate. Can I book a room?
Probably, yes. If you studied at Trinity Laban for one term or more, you are entitled to alumni benefits.
